Newcomers to Canada, and Low Income Subsidies
For more than three consecutive years, Excel has been able to subsidize our pre-competitive programs with funds received from a Red Cross Grant and a CPRA grant from the Government of Canada to support participation of women in sport.
The club is currently working to secure new grants to subsidize this program for future sessions. If successful, we will be able to provide subsidized programming in both the pre-competitive stream and competitive stream for swimmers with the (10 & U /Novice team). In the pre-competitive program, participants learn the basics of swimming and artistic swimming, while in the competitive program (10 & U / Novice team) participants train and compete with a specific group or team of individuals.
