At Excel, we transform learning to swim into an exciting adventure. Our programs teach kids essential skills like breath control, body support, and water awareness. This prepares them well for any future activities in the water.

  • Excel Synchronized Swimming Club was established as a non-profit organization in August of 2012. The Club began with six national stream athletes who were able to continue training at an elite level in Edmonton under the Excel umbrella. In 2012-2013, the Club also offered a recreational program for young swimmers. During the 2013-2014 season a head coach (Teresa) was hired and four junior national stream athletes competed for Excel as well as the first provincial stream competitive athlete. The Club has grown to be among the largest in Canada, with multiple branches operating successfully in outlying communities of Edmonton as well as the main hub in Edmonton itself. Key milestones of the Club can be found prominently displayed on the club milestones timeline.
